Surprisingly quick service even though the restaurant was busy. Great value and portion sizes. The volcano tofu was really tasty. The soup was delicious and had a real depth of flavour. Def worth a visit if you’re in the area.

It's a wonderful dinner experience. Especially the roti, crunchy outside soft inside. Curry beef is tender and matching the coconut rise very well. Highly recommended

A nice and clean environment with friendly and efficient staff. The price is quite reasonable and the taste on point. Very few places have this kind of authentic fish soup. It was an experience for my kids to try and I would highly recommend. We all loved the pan mee, volcano tofu, calamari. The grown ups loved the fish soup.

Ease of booking over the phone, and had my booking details confirmed through repeating it back to me too. Arrived pretty early for dinner so had a few parking spots to choose from, but would have probably had to park roadside if arrived later than 6:30pm or so. Straight forward ordering with paper forms, wait staff quite attentive too, always got good eye contact, didn't have to wait too long for someone to attend my table. Finally got to eat fish steamboat in Melbourne, personally wished the soup could've come a little warmer but still hearty delicious all the same, very rich broth, with plenty of vegetables, tofu, and packed with fish slices. Friend first time trying and loved it. So glad to also eat har cheong gai as well which seems hard to find in Melbourne. Delightful crunchy exterior and juicy inside. Volcano tofu on the house also hit the spot, sauce with minced pork was a rice stealer, and plenty of tofu to go round too. Definitely will come back and also to try other items on the menu.

Our favourite place for dishes, the food here never disappoint, consistently good, service is quick too. My kid's favourite is the volcano tofu (which we always request to be not spicy) and lemon chicken. We also enjoy the fish soup hotpot.

This is our 3rd time in a month - with different groups of people and ordered different dishes each time. Came tonight for their weekly special - Pig Stomach & Chicken Soup + Michael Jackson drink for $19.80. It was superb! Peppery, and stomach was well cleaned and cooked. Michael Jackson drink was refreshing. Also had the Fish Fillet Noodles Soup - pretty good and plenty of ingredients but the Pig Stomach soup did stand out more.
